Domain Security by Industry

Data as of 2026-06-27 · 15 industries · from 262M+ graded domains

Using industry-specific domain endings as a proxy for sector, we ranked 15 industries by how exposed their domains are. The pattern holds across all of them.

No industry is safe by default: the gap between the best and worst sector is dwarfed by how exposed every sector is. Even the strongest leaves the majority of its domains at grade F.

Ranked by the share of domains scoring grade F. Lower is better. Based on the domain's industry-specific ending, not the company's registered sector.
