For the press

We publish a recurring report, The State of Domain Security, drawn from our running census of around 333 million domains worldwide. It looks at how well — or how poorly — ordinary websites protect their email, their connections, and their visitors, and how that picture changes over time.

Journalists are welcome to cite our aggregate figures, with attribution to Defaults.Exposed. Our public figures describe broad patterns across the whole census; we never publish the grade of any individual domain, so there’s nothing there that could single out one organisation.
