How secure are Bahrain's domains?
Most businesses in Bahrain use a .bh domain. Across 3,210 of them, here's how their security stacks up — aggregate patterns only, never an individual business. As of 2026-08-16.
In the .bh zone — covering Bahrain — 59.7% of 3,210 graded domains earn an F, well below the 78.3% internet-wide average. Only 0.8% reach an A or A+ — the highest protection tier in the census.
We use .bh as a stand-in for Bahrain, based on the domain's ending rather than where a company is legally registered — so Bahrain businesses using a generic ending like .com aren't counted here.

What the .bh numbers cover
The 2026-08-16 census counted 3,626 registered domains in the .bh zone and was able to grade 3,210 of them. 364 (10%) no longer resolve at all — a dead domain still carries its DNS records, and can still be used to forge mail, so it is graded rather than ignored. A further 416 could not be determined and are excluded from the scoring denominator entirely.
At 59.7% failing, Bahrain sits below the 78.3% F-rate measured across every graded domain on the internet. 27 .bh domains (0.8%) score an A or A+, meaning they pass essentially every check we run.
What an F actually means here
A grade reflects 34 published checks across email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), TLS and certificates, DNS security including DNSSEC and CAA, and web security headers. Most failing domains are not failing narrowly: the common pattern is no DMARC policy at all, an SPF record that authorises far more senders than intended, and no DNSSEC. Each of those is free to fix and takes minutes, which is why the failure rate says more about defaults than about effort.
Check a .bh domain
These are aggregates — we never publish an individual domain's result. To see where a specific domain sits against the 3,210 graded here, run it through the same 34 checks the census uses.
