The expensive part of DNS (Domain Name System) work is doing it in the wrong order. If DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance) enforcement goes on before your newsletter tool is aligned, your own invoices go to spam. A wrong CAA (Certification Authority Authorization) set stops your certificate renewing weeks later, and changing nameservers with a DS (Delegation Signer) record in place takes your domain dark. None of these mistakes gives you a warning; the right sequence avoids all of them.
